galvano golf classic raises $179,000 | manatee county photographer

bill galvano and the manatee education foundation hosted the 13th annual phil galvano golf tournament this past friday in effort to raise dollars to benefit manatee county schools. the effort was far surpassed as the funds reached $179,000. with the school districts budget cuts being a hot topic these days, it's much needed assistance to a district in much need.

the event began thursday evening with a reception held at the ritz carlton in sarasota in honor of the sponsors. friday's tee off @ the legacy golf course went well with various local restaurants refreshing the golfers throughout the course. it was an awesome event dispite me getting soaked during a sudden shower and a race back to the clubhouse -lol. i am grateful to be apart of it again.

i'm a lil behind here but doing my best to catch up and keep up with the race. here's a past due post for cristina & clay who had a sweet intimate ceremony at the belleview bitmore resort in clearwater... this was one of the last weddings to be held at the bitmore as it plans to close june 1st.
