so so much fun these two were for their engagement shoot at selby gardens, sarasota. down for anything... like climbing trees:) and can you tell how "in-love" they are. so sweet. can't wait for their big day next year.

what a great engagement shoot we had on the grounds of the ringling estate. what started as a quick mini-shoot turned out to be a full-blown e-session as we ran around prior to the closing of the museum.... absolutely gorgeous couple with some gorgeous backdrops.

mearlina & twain

had an awesome engagement shoot in the dark with mearlina & twain at sarasota's bayfront. we just made it for a breathtaking sunset and kept shooting after the sun set with any available light we could find - turned out for some really intimate gorgeous portraits.

i had the pleasure of photographing mr & mrs sturm while their children were visiting from germany. i had a great time getting to know them and there pup mitsy. although the day was overcast, we ended our shoot surprisingly with a gorgeous florida sunset.

jorge returned to school yesterday entering 2nd grade. i think i had more tummy flutters than he did. when he came home he said the day was all about "time". i am sure they are jumping in right where 1st grade left off. he was very excited about making new friends (they change students each year - far different from when i was growing up). 1st week of school is always nerv-wracking for me - it's the most chaotic and highest risk for jorge to be exposed to peanut or p.butter... this year went much much smoother than any year prior :) i am soo thankful... all the preparation was worth it.

i know he's gonna rock this year :)

so i got my new canon 5d and 24-70 2.8 L lense in the other day and of course can't resist playing/practicing with my fav subjects... my boyz. couldn't resist sharing this series of images of shane - doesn't he just make you laugh?

my long time friend kori stopped by this weekend with her inspiring daughter mayah, who's breaking into modeling. can you see why?! what a fun day it was.
